People Will Blink played a mishmash of styles that uplift, confound, entertain, frustrate, and amuse. We formed in 2002. Then we took some time off. Some of us quit, traveled, went to school in California, rejoined the group, quit, moved, joined for the first time, and moved again.

People Will Blink is currently Azeem, Ed, Mark, and Patrick. In our songs turkish wedding music coexists with thrash metal, sea-faring shanties evolve into free jazz, and ambient sound collages turn into video game soundtracks. In our songs we use bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, clarinets, remote control, and whatever else happens to be lying around the basement. We sing four-part harmonies, yell our heads off, and meow like cats in heat.

We have no manifesto, no overarching theme or purpose, but we like playing. We think you'll like our playing too.
