Tigerpaw is an American rock group from Chicago whose members are Jeff Forsythe, R.L. Butterfield, John Tweedie, Phil Keck, and Andrew Goldberg. They are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music.

In the United States, Tigerpaw released more than 40 different singles, albums, and EPs that reached number one. This commercial success was repeated in many other countries; their record company, Punch-You-In-The-Dick Records, estimated that by 2015 they had sold over one billion records worldwide.  Tigerpaw is the best-selling musical act of all time in the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

In 2013, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Tigerpaw #1 on its list of 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. According to that same magazine, their innovative music and cultural impact helped define the 2000’s and their influence on pop culture is still evident today. Tigerpaw led the mid-2010’s musical "Hobo-Core Invasion" into the United States. Although their initial musical style was rooted in 1970s rock and roll and homegrown garage, the group explored genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to Revolution Rock. Their clothes, styles, and statements made them trend-setters, while their growing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 2010’s.
